The juvenile upcoming of Mount Carmel School dates back to 8thApril 1999 when Sister Gladys and Sister Suma gave a commencement to the noble cause of educating the tiny tots in a little cottage with the aim to prepare the building talents as worthy citizen with just a strength of 26 anf 12 students in KG I and KG II.
\r\nFor the next three consecutive years Sr. Pushpa, Sr. Soumya, Sr. Roselett, Sr. Snehalitha and Sr. Bridget from Africa together with few dedicated teachers worked for the progress of the institution consistently. 9th Feb, 2002 was the auspicious day when the foundation stone of the school was blessed by Reverend Fr. Pascal Topno Archbishop of Archdiocese, Bhopal. The blessed stone was laid by all the sisters joined in the cause under the affectionate guidance of Sr. Regis- the then Provincial Superior. 14th Dec 2002 marked the inauguration of the Annual Day celebration by Rev. Dr. Pascal Topno. 2nd Jan 2002 the remarkable day defines the shifting into the present day building, soon after which the Best School award was bagged by us, presented by the MP Housing Board.
\r\n8th September 2002, the jubilant day that brought the establishment of Mt.Carmel Chapel. Our efforts were recognized with the ICSE affiliation on 14th Aug 2007 and till date conscientious striving of all of us has brought laurels to the institution and added many feathers in our cap. Year by year witnessing remarkable achievements of students and teachers. We also work for the underprivileged kids and educate them through CARMEL JYOTI- a parallel institution.
\r\nWe have been experiencing the unsurprising love of the lord in our thought, word and action. May the almighty shower upon us his choicest blessings and upon all of them who are associated with this great institution in any form so that we may bring accolades and work for the glory of god - our unyielding strength and the never ending ultimate source of inspiration.
